Our goal is to support, and encourage their autonomy while helping them develop healthy lifestyle habits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant will be working directly with seniors to provide information and referrals.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant will be accompanying seniors to medical appointments.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant will do assessments and visits to new and existing members.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant will be required to support special events.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant will be required to do manage member\u2019s files and light administration duties as required to complete tasks (stats recording, budget management, report writing).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with seniors.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written skills in both English &amp; French<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team setting<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work autonomously<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the fields of Social Service\/ Intervention<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literate<\/li>\n<li>Must be 18-30 years old<\/li>\n<li>Must currently be a full-time student and returning to school in the fall 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Start date: June 25, 2019<\/p>\n<p>End date:&nbsp; August 19<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019<\/p>\n<p>35 hours weekly for a duration of 8 weeks (Flexibility to work occasional evenings &amp; week-ends)<\/p>\n<p>Salary: Minimum wage<\/p>\n<p>Please send your CV and cover letter to <a href=\"mailto:rosemarys@centrestantoine.com\">rosemarys@centrestantoine.com<\/a> before midnight on May 26.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oldbcrc.webworldst.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/CS-department-1.docx\">CS department<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/oldbcrc.webworldst.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/CS-department-1.docx\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download>Download<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Student Job Description Community Support Worker &nbsp;Saint- Antoine 50 + Community Centre is a not-for-profit organization providing social services for vulnerable seniors in our community.
